Sunday Post is hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer, Sunday Salon is hosted by Readerbuzz and Stacking the Shelves ishosted by Tynga’s Reviews.
If you all can’t tell, we love the simplicity of these Sunday Salon posts so it’s going to be a weekend staple on Stuck in the Stacks.
This Week in Review
Monday- we introduced a new, bi-weekly feature called Monday Matinee that we hope people will link up and participate in. Essentially, it’s a meme where bloggers share book recommendations based on movies and tv shows that they loved recently. The meme has no set themes so bloggers can personalize it to fit the style of their blogs and individual reading tastes.
Tuesday- we participated in the meme Top Ten Tuesday and shared our favorite reaads for the first half of 2020. You bet it was difficult to narrow our choices down!
Wednesday- we were very excited to share our predictions for the February Book of the Month picks. The clues are hard this month so our almost perfect tract record might be ruined. We shall see!
Thursday- we debated the pros and cons of book buying bans as part of a Thursday Tea Time and, unsurprisingly, have similar feelings about them.
Friday- we welcomed everyone to The Reading Room where Emily shared her compelling review of Such A Fun Age by Kiley Ried.
Saturday- in another Stocking the Stacks, Haley shared her library haul with everyone.
Our Netgalley Haul
We have felt so much love from publishers through Netgalley recently. We decided to set up an account dedicated to our blog and, as you can see from our haul, publishers are just as excited about it as we are!
Coming Up This Week
Monday, for a Matters of Shelf Control post, we’re interviewing a US based librarian about their experience and underused service that they wish more patrons knew about.
Tuesday, is another Top Ten Tuesday and we’re sharing our biggest reading related discoveries of 2019.
Wednesday, Haley will welcome you back to The Reading Room with a review of a recent favorite
Then Thursday we’re kicking off our three post series culminating in our Saturday Spotlight with Scott Reintgen featuring his forthcoming YA fantasy: Ashlords. Posts will include themed recommendations related to the book, a full review, and the Q&A so don’t miss it!
What About You?
