So my husband and I covered almost two thousand miles in three days (from Wednesday to Friday afternoon) and I feel like we are still recuperating from the drive. I still have final projects and exams I’m finishing up for school but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am so excited for my job to start next week.
This Week in Review
Monday: the Book of the Month picks were confirmed and so we put together our monthly At A Glance post.
Wednesday: I talked about the Summer Releases I’m excited about (and that I hope are future Book of the Month picks) in another Can’t Wait Wednesday.
Thursday: We kicked off our three post series featuring Demetra Brodsky and Last Girls with themed book recommendations inspired by key themes from the book.
Friday: I shared my spoiler-free review of Last Girls. Perhaps the only spoiler I’ll give is that I loved this YA thriller so much!
Saturday: We shared our author interview with Demtra Brodsky in the first of May’s Saturday Spotlights.
Our Netgalley Haul
Coming Up Next
Monday: I’m planning a Monday Matinee based on my favorite Parks and Rec characters- what can I say? The quarantine episode inspired me!
Tuesday: TTT is all about things I’d have at a bookish party. I think I’m going to do books I would put in party bags or something. Not sure yet, but stay tuned to find out!
Wednesday: I haven’t shared what I’ve been reading in a while so be sure to stop on by for another WWW.
Thursday: For Thursday Tea Time I’m planning on talking about how COVID-19 has impacted my reading life. Come ready to chat and share all your bookish opinions and insights!
Friday: This week’s Friday Favorites will be all about books I would recommend for Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, which runs through the Month of May
Saturday: Stay tuned for a few books reviews. I’ve bee making quite a dent in my Netgalley backlist and there are a few books I am really excited about.
