My husband and I aren’t religious and so we aren’t really celebrating Easter but it’s definitely a weird time for everyone to be social distancing. Hopefully all of you are finding little ways to celebrate and enjoy the family that you can be around right now.
This Week in Review
Monday: was another Make It Happen Monday where I shared more recommendations for the PopSugar Reading challenge.
Tuesday: I had tons of fun with TTT talking about the outside influences that make me pick up a book.
Wednesday: I shared what I’ve been reading lately in another WWW.
Friday: I introduced a new feature called: Friday Favorites, and shared my favorite books with MeToo themes.
Saturday: my husband shared his musings on The Troop by Nick Cutter. Spoiler alert, he finished it because he loves me.
Our Netgalley Haul
Coming Up Next
Monday: I’m going to do a Monday Matinee and recommend books based off some of my favorite sitcom characters.
Tuesday: for TTT I’ll be sharing some books that I loved but rarely talk about.
Wednesday: I thought it would be fun to do another Wheelhouse Wednesday, trope edition
Thursday: I was going to do it this week but then I had to write a paper for school. So for Thursday Tea Time I’ll be sharing some resources for those who want to support local and independent bookstores while we are all still stuck at home.
Friday: I’ll be shocked if we don’t have clues for Book of the Month. If we don’t, plan for another Bites from our Backlist post.
Saturday: In another Book Series Saturday I’ll be talking about the book series whose ending disappointed me. We’ve all been there.
What About You?
How was your reading week? What new books did you add to your collection? What books are keeping you company while you stay home over the next few weeks.
Wow, that’s an awesome Netgalley haul! I’m curious about… almost all of them, actually!
My weekly post.
We aren’t very religious either, but we do set up an Easter egg hunt for my daughter each year, and I put together baskets for each of us. Otherwise, it’s a fairly normal Sunday for us. I hope you had a nice Sunday. Your new books all look like they will be great reads. A Flood of Posies particularly caught my eye. I hope you enjoy all of them! Have a good week and stay safe and well.
A Flood of Posies looks great! I love all these awesome covers coming out right now!
Have a safe and healthy week!
We aren’t religious either but the Easter Bunny came 🙂
Several of your Netgalley titles look interesting, enjoy!
Wishing you a great reading week and good health
Looks like your week will be filled with fiction!!!
