Today is Mother’s Day and it got me thinking of all the people who are not mothers. As someone who, at this point in her life does not want kids, it can be a weird and rather uncomfortable holiday. I know there are people reading this who for whatever reasons can’t have kids and want them. I see you and I hope you take care of you today.

As far as my reading week is concerned, I finished two audiobooks, both of which I really enjoyed. I started The Other Black Girl and Project Hail Mary. I am enjoying them both immensely.

I am reading Home, part of the Gilead series by Marilynne Robinson. I am super distracted with my youngest searching for fall housing for school. So, very off and on. Not the best way to read.

I had picked up People We Meet On Vacation, but honestly do not care for it much. Too silly for my taste.

I have Black Buck and Klara and The Sun waiting to be picked up at the library.

So as you can see, I am all over the place.
