Hi all! We are excited to be joining TBR & Beyond Book Tours to celebrate the release of A Golden Fury by Samantha Cohoe. This book looks SO DANG GOOD. I know we’ve talked about wheelhouses over here before — or basically words on book summaries that make books instant buys — and this one checks a TON of my boxes. London? Check. Magic? Check. Alchemy? Check. GIVE. IT. TO. ME. NOW.
I’ve been meaning to dig in to this one since it came out, but the 2020 Book Slump remains exceedingly real, and as we get closer to the election in the US, my focus is shot. Anyone else out there suffering like this?! I can barely remember the last time I was able to focus on more than a chapter at a time and it’s driving me NUTS.
Anyway, happy book release to Samantha — I cannot wait to dig into this gorgeous book. If anyone has read it, comment below and let me know how much you loved it!

About the Author
Samantha Cohoe was raised in San Luis Obispo, California, where she enjoyed an idyllic childhood of beach trips, omnivorous reading, and writing stories brimming with adverbs. She attended Thomas Aquinas College, a Great Books college in California, and graduated with a BA in liberal arts. After studying Philosophical Theology at Yale Divinity School, she decided academia wasn’t for her.
In the midst of marriage, child-bearing, and the identity crisis that followed, she rediscovered her early love of writing and adverbs. In 2011, she moved with her family to Denver, where she currently divides her time between teaching Latin, mothering, writing, reading, and deleting adverbs.
