Sunday Salon- The Librarian Is In Edition

Posted June 14, 2020 by stuckint in Features, Stocking the Stacks, Sunday Post, Sunday Salon / 5 Comments

Hello everyone and welcome back to another Sunday Salon. We had a good, if not rather crazy week. The library I work at just opened back up to the public with limited hours and we had 500 people walk in the door the first day in five hours. It was also my first time working the info desk so it we definitely a baptism by fire in terms of working the front desk.

I hope you week has gone well and that you are settling in to the joys of summer reading.

  1. Oh wow that sounds crazy at the library! I know there must be pent-up demand but 500 people! Yikes! And ooh- a new Wendy Walker book? I read her last one and thought it was quite good!

    Have a fabulous week!

Right!?!? My supervisor apologized after my shift. He said he didn’t think it would be that busy.

I liked Emma in the Night well enough so I’m about her next book.

Hope you have a great week as well!
